| Color
changing
technology
by
PhotoChromic
inks has
been
around
the
custom
screen
print
and
advertising
industries
for over
a
decade.
The
reason
that
this
technology
is still
very
popular
among
advertisers
in
custom
screen
print
industry
is the
magical
transformation
of
colors.
This
series
of
PhotoChromic
colors
come in
basic
colors
such as
red,
blue,
yellow,
green
and
purple.
When
these
colors
are
indoor
and not
exposed
to
ultraviolet
light,
they are
almost
colorless.
However,
when
they are
exposed
to
ultraviolet
light
(including
sunlight)
they
will
gradually
turn
into
their
own
colors.
The
stronger
light
and
longer
expose
duration,
the
higher
the
intensity
of the
colors.
And
of
course
there
are
limits
as
everything
else,
the
colors
will not
increase
their
intensity
after
they
reach
their
limits.
PhotoChromic
inks
work the
best
with
white
t-shirts.
However
they
also
work
with
light
color
t-shirts
such as
natural.
You
would
also
want to
take
advantage
of the
magical
color
change
by
screen
printing
only a
black
and
white
image
for the
indoor
image
and
leaves
all the
colors
as
PhotoChromic
colors
so they
will
only
appear
outdoor.
In
this way
you
optimize
the
color
transformation
between
a black
and
white
image
and a
full
color
image.
We
recommend
PhotoChromic’s
color
changing
technology
for all
outdoor
events
on
t-shirts,
sweatshirts
and
sportshirts.
Imagine
when
your
guests
witness
the
magical
color
change.
For
sure
that’s
going to
leave a
long
impression
to them.

without
being
exposed

Only two
normal
colors
(black
and
purple)
are
visible
even
though
five
colors
are
screen
printed
totally.

of the

T-shirt
with
Photochromic
(color

screen
print is
a very
good
idea for
outdoor
events. |

| Photochromic
inks
come in
basic
colors
such as
red,
blue,
yellow,
green,
purple
and
charcoal.
Since
the
intensity
of the
color
has to
do with
the
intensity
of sun
light at
the
time, it
can be
tricky
if you
want to
show
color
gradient
in
photochromic
colors.
We
normally
advise
solid
area
application
of
photochromic
color
instead
of
gradient
(halftone). |

| An
example
for
effective
color
changing
t-shirt
design
is shown
above.
Simple
outline
in black
or dark
color
when
it's
indoor,
full
color
when
exposed
to sun
light.
This
will
maximize
the
visual
impact
and
hopefully
leave
your
audience
a long
lasting
impression. |
